Tsis ntev los no, PowerCo, lub tuam txhab roj teeb nyob rau hauv Volkswagen Group, tshaj tawm kev pom zoo nrog QuantumScape, lub chaw tsim khoom roj teeb hauv lub xeev, txhawm rau txhim kho QuantumScape cov khoom siv hluav taws xob-lub xeev lithium hlau txuas ntxiv.
Tom qab ua tiav qee qhov kev nce qib hauv QuantumScape cov cuab yeej siv hluav taws xob hauv lub xeev, PowerCo yuav tau txais daim ntawv tso cai los tsim cov roj teeb loj raws li QuantumScape thev naus laus zis platform thiab them cov nuj nqis. Raws li daim ntawv cog lus tsis muaj ntawv tso cai kos npe los ntawm ob tog, PowerCo tuaj yeem siv QuantumScape's thev naus laus zis los tsim cov roj teeb txog li 40GWh ib xyoos ib zaug, thiab tuaj yeem xaiv nthuav ntau lawm rau 80GWh, txaus los muab cov roj teeb rau kwv yees li 1 lab lub tsheb.
Ob lub tuam txhab ntseeg tias txoj hauv kev no yog txoj hauv kev nrawm tshaj plaws kom ua tiav cov khoom loj ntawm cov roj teeb hauv lub xeev kom tau raws li qhov kev xav tau thoob ntiaj teb loj hlob rau kev ua tau zoo dua ntawm cov roj teeb tsheb. Ob lub tuam txhab yuav xa cov kws tshaj lij los tsim ib pab pawg tshwj xeeb los ua cov haujlwm ua lag luam, vam tias yuav koom ua ke cov khoom lag luam rau hauv Volkswagen Group cov tsheb.
Nws yuav tsum tau taw qhia tias daim ntawv cog lus kos npe los ntawm ob tog hloov lub roj teeb tsim kev sib koom ua lag luam tsim ua ntej los ntawm Volkswagen Group thiab QuantumScape. Hauv 2018, Volkswagen Group tshaj tawm $ 100 lab peev hauv QuantumScape thiab tsim lub roj teeb sib koom tes nrog nws. Volkswagen Group tseem yog tus tswv cuab loj tshaj plaws ntawm QuantumScape, tuav 17% ntawm nws cov shares thiab tam sim no muaj nuj nqis ntawm $ 459 lab.
Piv nrog rau cov roj teeb ua kua, cov roj teeb uas muaj zog tuaj yeem khaws ntau lub zog. Automakers thiab cov kws tshuaj ntsuam xav tias cov roj teeb uas muaj zog tuaj yeem daws qhov teeb meem ntawm kev txwv ntau thiab ua kom lub zog hloov mus rau hluav taws xob tsheb. Tam sim no, kev txwv ntau tseem yog qhov mob tseem ceeb rau kev nrov ntawm cov tsheb hluav taws xob.
PowerCo CEO Frank Blome tau hais tias QuantumScape's thev naus laus zis tab tom yuav nkag mus rau theem tseem ceeb, thiab PowerCo cov kev txawj ntse, cov peev txheej, thiab cov txheej txheem thoob ntiaj teb tuaj yeem tsav nws txoj kev hloov mus rau ntau lawm.
Dr. Siva Sivaram, CEO thiab Thawj Tswj Hwm ntawm QuantumScape, tau hais tias, "PowerCo yog peb cov neeg siv khoom thawj zaug, thiab kev ua haujlwm nrog lawv yuav pab peb nrawm rau kev lag luam thiab siv cov roj teeb hauv lub xeev.
